Rollins Road Construction Alert
The Lake County Department of Transportation has released information on the temporary closing of Rollins Road at Rte. 83 in Round Lake Beach. The temporary closure will take place on November 11-25. District 46 buses may experience some delays in the area as rerouting takes place. Please feel free to download the Notice from the Lake County DOT or visit the Rollins Road Gateway project website.

2013 Illinois School Report Cards
CCSD 46's 2013 Illinois School Report Cards are posted on on each school's webpage. The reports provide information about the performance and demographics of our schools as gathered from the Spring 2013 Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT), the Spring 2013 5-Essentials Survey, as well as other data collected by the state. Please feel free to download the FAQ from ISBE explaining the new report card, and visit your school page to view the report card.

Racho Family Fundraiser
On Friday, October 25th the Racho Family of Hainesville lost their home to fire. The Rachos have three children who attend schools in CCSD46 and we are directing anyone who would like to donate to the family to visit the Racho Family Fundraiser webpage.

New Vaccine Requirement for 2013
Beginning next school year, Fall of 2013, all students entering, transferring, or advancing into 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grades will be required to show proof of receipt of one dose of Tdap vaccine (containing tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis). Most students may have already received the vaccine and simply need to provide the school with verifying documentation from the family health care provider.
